Ποιος: Soccer Mommy (Facebook | Bandcamp) είναι το καλλιτεχνικό ψευδώνυμο της 20χρονης Sophie Allison από το Nashville.
Genre: indie rock / bedroom pop
Trivia: Γεννήθηκε στην Ελβετία, μεγάλωσε στο Nashville. Έπιασε πρώτη φορά κιθάρα στα χέρια της όταν ήταν 5 ετών. Το πρώτο CD που αγόρασε ποτέ ήταν το "Under My Skin" της Avril Lavigne. Είναι απόφοιτος της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του Nashville. Άρχισε να ανεβάζει μουσική στο Bandcamp το 2015, δίνοντας στα κομμάτια της τίτλους όπως "songs for the recently sad" και "moving to new york".  Στην Νέα Υόρκη σπούδασε στο τμήμα Οργάνωσης και Διοίκησης Μουσικών Επιχειρήσεων του NYU, το οποίο μετά το δεύτερο έτος εγκατέλειψε οριστικά προκειμένου να αφοσιωθεί στο songwriting. Η ίδια αποκαλεί τα τραγούδια της "emopop bangers". Έδωσε την πρώτη της συναυλία τον Οκτώβριο του 2016 στο Silent Barn, στο Bushwick του Brooklyn. Έχει περιοδεύσει, μεταξύ άλλων, με την Mitski, τους Slowdive και την Phoebe Bridgers. Το debut album της "Clean" κυκλοφόρησε στις 2 Μαρτίου από την Fat Possum. Ο δίσκος δανείζεται τον τίτλο του από το τελευταίο κομμάτι του άλμπουμ της Taylor Swift "1989".
