Ποιος: Οι Savages (Facebook | YouTube) είναι ένα γυναικείο punk συγκρότημα από το Λονδίνο.

Trivia: Σχηματίστηκαν τον Οκτώβριο του 2011. Πήραν το όνομά τους από το "Lord of the Flies", ένα από τα αγαπημένα βιβλία της κιθαρίστριας Gemma Thomson. Έδωσαν την πρώτη τους συναυλία τον Ιανουάριο του 2012, ως support των British Sea Power. Ο manager τους, John Best, μανατζάρει και τους Sigur Ros. Το πραγματικό όνομα της τραγουδίστριασς Jehnny Beth είναι Camille Berthomier. Η πρώτη τους κυκλοφορία ήταν το double A-side "Flying to Berlin" / "Husbands" (Ιούνιος 2012). Τότε η Guardian είχε γράψει το τρομερά κολακευτικό: "the first single by Savages, makes us dream of what it must have been like to have been around to hear, in real time, the debut releases by Public Image Ltd, Magazine, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joy Division, to feel, as those incredible records hit the shops, that unearthly power and sense of a transmission from a satellite reality." Τον Δεκέμβριο του 2012 το BBC τις συμπεριέλαβε στο poll του για το Sound of 2013. Το debut album τους "Silence Yourself" κυκλοφόρησε στις 6 Μαΐου. Το καλοκαίρι θα περιοδεύσουν σε Ευρώπη και Αμερική ενώ θα εμφανιστούν και ως support act σε live των Portishead και των Iggy and the Stooges.
